Hot off the heals of two very successful releases, "The Concert" and Doug and Melvin's "Duets" (which featured the smash single "Cooling Water"), the Brothers are back with another collection that is destined to become a chart topper entitled "Still Here."
Recorded live in Morton, Mississippi, on April 5th and 6th, 2003, The Williams Brothers were in rare form as they delivered one of their most memorable concerts. This awesome group took the audience on a two night journey of emotions ranging from Praise & Worship, shouting, dancing, and running to crying tears of joy.
This album is filled with plenty of down home Gospel music as well as some high energy Contemporary Christian music. Highlights include the title track "Still Here" that tells a powerful story of the struggles that the group had to endure with a 70's R&B flavor. The super talented Paul Porter of the Christianaires joins Melvin on "I Felt A Change" which brought the house down. There is also an incredible remake of the Katie Sankey standard "I Don't Know Why (I Have To Cry Sometimes)." In all, there are 12 wonderful, uplifting songs that truly capture the magical performance that only The Williams Brothers can deliver, making this an absolute "must have" for any fan.
