Kenton began singing at the age of seven in the church choir where he remembers leading his first song, "I Don't Know Why Jesus Loves Me", and later at the age of seventeen he began his preaching ministry. Kenton Rogers is an established national recording artist. His latest release, which is his second solo project on the Blackberry Label, entitled "Alive & Pressin' On" includes gospel music superstars Albertina Walker, The Williams Brothers, Willie Neal Johnson and Paul Porter of the Christianaires. Some of the songs that Kenton is noted for from former projects are "Just Look At Me", "God Has Never Failed Me", and "Over in Zion". He has also recorded on Melvin Williams solo album "Live, In Living Color", where they performed the duet "Time is Running Out". |
