They looked forward to doing a lot of positive things in the R&B field. However, the Lord had other plans of returning them back to where they belong. Realizing what the Lord wanted them to do, they were obedient and followed the Lord's calling. They were led to transform the R&B group, After The Rain, into the new Rhythm & Light sensation, Half Mile Home.
Their hit singles entitled, "Do It Again" & "Faith" are from their album "The Movement." The project features Woody Rock of Dru Hill on 2 tracks, "Realistic Love" and "Still Blessed". "The Movement" is a radical but spiritual approach with no limitations on the array of listeners. They have revolutionized inspirational music with the new sound they call "Rhythm & Light." It's a distinctive urban style of music that will lift your spirit. Keep in mind that Half Mile Home isn't your typical quartet guy band. They do more than just sing. They wrote and produced the entire CD. All four members of the group are established musicians and willing to minister to anyone that wants to hear and learn the word of God.
