Benjamin Cone, III & Worship

Organized in March of 1997,Benjamin Cone III & Worship is a group of men and women of various denominations from the Metropolitan Jackson, MS area. They have appeared on recordings with Gospel Legends such as the late Rev. James Moore, Dorothy Norwood, The Original Messengers, and Gospel greats, Lillian Lilly, Carolyn Traylor as well as backed artist such as Maurette Brown Clark, Melvin Williams, and Donald Malloy on BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel.

Affectionately known as “Benji,” Benjamin Cone III, is the son of Malaco Records’ spoken-word Gospel artist, Mississippi Mass Choir member and spiritual adviser, legendary Rev. Benjamin Cone, Jr. Continuing the legacy, Benjamin Cone III is a 2nd generation Mississippi Mass Choir member, where he also serves as an associate choir director and the featured lead vocalist on the Mississippi Mass Choir church choir favorite single, “If I Be Lifted” and the Billboard Top 10 single “God Made Me.”

The next exciting chapter for Benjamin Cone III & Worship is the release of their debut single, “The Race,” taken from their upcoming debut CD, “When Praise Meets Worship” on Muscle Shoals Sound Gospel.
