Anderson Sanctuary Choir

Anderson Sanctuary Choir

"Joyful Praise" marks the very first live recording of the dynamic music ministry of the Anderson Sanctuary Choir of Anderson United Methodist Church - Jackson, Mississippi. Though the first time on their own, their voices have been heard on the Grammy nominated recording of Dorothy Norwood's "Hattie B's Daughter" and on the Stellar nominated recording of Lillian Lilly's "The Other Part Of Me."

Overseeing the project was one of Gospel music's most saught after producers, Rudolph Stanfield. His productions include Reverend James Moore, Vanessa Bell-Armstrong, Keith Pringle, Thomas Whitfield and Company, Tarryln Ramsey, and The Colorado Mass Choir among others. His compositions include "Bread of Heaven," "Perfect Peace," "Never Alone," "Tell It," and "Stir Up The Gift." Stanfield served for more than a decade as the Music Director for "The Queen of Soul" Aretha Franklin.

Under the fifteen plus years of direction by Sondra Bell, this live recording has been a long time dream and this release captures the magic of it's fruitian in the evening's performance!
