Presently living in Memphis, Tennessee, Larome sang and toured the West Coast during the seventies with acts such as Harvey Scales, Jesse James, Joe Tex, Millie Jackson, The Numonics, Gap Band, War, Lenny Williams, Robert Winters and Fall and many others. During that time he was CEO of Super Disc Productions, that later became SGH&R. The company had artists like Harvey Scales who was on Casa Blanca and Melvin Griffin who was on Henry Stone label. The Company also had five writers on staff at CBS in the April Blackwood Division. Larome was one of the writers. Before that, Larome was a staff writer for Groovesville Productions for ten years where the well-known producer / writer, Don Davis was at the helm. Larome helped pen hits like "I Can Do Bad By Myself", - Jesse James; "It Ain't What You Do", - Johnnie Taylor; "Come Inside", - The Dramatics; "That Thing That You Got", - Harvey Scales. Recently, Larome produced the smash hit CD "Blues Binge" by Reggie Wayne Morris; "Old Fashion Love" by Kenny Wayne and many more up and coming artists. Larome's first solo CD "Somebody's Chasin' My Cat" is proving to be one of his best productions yet. His sincere approach and love for music seems to have found a home on this CD.
